Now onto what is one of the best events I have been to in years. In their 3rd year, the RPM Nationals is like nothing I have ever been to. A low key but high RPM event filled with tradition and wonder. It's as if you stepped back in time and are watching these 4 bangers and flatheads battle it out on your local backroad in the 1950s.

Sunday morning I got up early and headed up to Malibu Country Mart for Wheels & Waves, the monthly show I help put on with Fireball & Ken.

Saturday I headed over to San Manuel Stadium in San Bernadino for this year's Huffarama. A wonderful show put on by the Dead Sleds Car Club to honor Bo Huff who was a club member and a car builder.

Such a fun time and a great selection of bombs and lowriders and so much more. Here are a few more the Los Muertos Uptown Festival.

The annual Los Muertos Uptown Festival is always one of my favorite events every year. It takes place in Uptown Whittier, my hometown, and is so much more than just a car show.

Saturday after a little time at the day job I headed over to the Placentia Heritage Car Show. A cool little event at Tri-City Park with some really nice hot rods.

Saturday I headed over to the Original Roadhouse in Whittier for The Dukes & Con Stilo car clubs event Rolling Back to the Roadhouse.

Saturday morning I headed down to Huntington Beach to Adams Avenue Donuts for the world-famous Donut Derelicts. Always a great time with some very cool cars.

So sadly the last event with the Retro Ladies but The Rattys will continue with the wonderful last Sunday of the month car show.

Always a great show. Always a lot of fun. Always one of the largest 1-day charity shows around with over 3500 cars in attendance.

After hangin' at Donut Derelicts on Saturday I headed over to Cambra Speed Shop / Reid's Rod Parts for their Car Club Cavalcade.

Here is some more hot rod goodness from the Outriders Picnic. Such a great time at the show.

A bucket list item for a lot of hot rodders is getting to attend the Outriders Picnic. To get a ticket to get in you have to either know someone in the Outriders Car Club that is willing to give or sell you a ticket or in my case know someone who knows someone.
