Saturday after the Fountain Valley Car Show I took the slow way home up Beach Blvd. so I could checkout the Relaxing with Kustoms car show. This monthly event started 1 year ago and they were celebrating.

Saturday morning was the Fountain Valley Car Show and this year was awesome. Now I have been friends with Pete, the gentlemen that runs this wonderful show, for a while. Pete has always worked hard and succeeded at putting together an awesome show every year but he is getting up there in age and has decided to pass it on to my friend Ken. Ken is no stranger to putting on shows.

Friday Night while out running errands I made a quick stop off at Ruby's Diner Whittier for their Friday Night Cruise. It was a great turnout and always a fun time. Every Friday until the end of October a wonderful cruise night.

The crew from Caffeine and Classics knocked it out of the park with another wonderful show at The Container Yard in Los Angeles. Such a cool venue and a great turnout of classics, hot rods, customs and more.

Saturday afternoon I headed out to the valley, to Sun Valley, California to be exact to checkout the Genocide Car Club Car Show at the Pink Motel. Now the Pink Motel is an icon of mid-century goodness that gets used in commercials, movies and TV shows. To say I was excited to have that as a backdrop of the photos would be an understatement. It was a blast.

Another fantastic Friday night spent in Whittier for Ruby's Diner Friday Night Cruise-In. It's so nice to have a local show that I can go to almost every Friday. This was another one that delivered with some very cool cars.

One of my favorite shows was Saturday! Saturday morning after checking out Donut Derelicts I headed over to Old World Village in Huntington Beach, CA for the annual Aces Hot Rod Resurrection. It's such a cool venue to have a car show and I do so love traditional hot rods and customs.
