What an epic Saturday at Mooneyes Open House. My buddy Shiney picked me up in his awesome Model A Truck and we headed to the show. It was a great day of all kinds of cool customs and hot rods.

The second part of Saturday was in Pasadena, CA on the world-famous Colorado Blvd. for the Customs Cruise. Now the fun thing about the Customs Cruise is it moves around. It’s always in a different location, the last one being on York Blvd.

Saturday was going to be a full day for me but in a great way because it was going to be filled with cool cars. The day started at the Variety Car Show at the Original Roadhouse Grill in Whittier.

Saturday I headed over to a newish (since March 2021) show just 10 minutes from my pad in the wonderful city of Whittier. The new show is Gas & Glaze and is in the Avocado Heights area of Whittier. A fun event with some cool cars and I got to see a couple of friends there too.

Sunday morning I headed up to Oxnard, CA, about an hour drive from home, to the Murphy Auto Museum for the twice-monthly show, Muscles & Mojo. It’s always so much fun visiting the Murphy.

Sunday morning I headed Culver City to checkout my buddy Jason’s new business. He recently opened up a Detail Garage and his first event was Rides & Coffee that morning. It was a blast.

Saturday after the Fountain Valley Car Show I took the slow way home up Beach Blvd. so I could checkout the Relaxing with Kustoms car show. This monthly event started 1 year ago and they were celebrating.

Saturday morning was the Fountain Valley Car Show and this year was awesome. Now I have been friends with Pete, the gentlemen that runs this wonderful show, for a while. Pete has always worked hard and succeeded at putting together an awesome show every year but he is getting up there in age and has decided to pass it on to my friend Ken. Ken is no stranger to putting on shows.
