Celebrating 90 Years of Automotive Excellence: Ward Service

Every auto enthusiast knows just how important it is to have a fair and reliable auto shop to call on, and for 90 years, the residents of Pasadena and Monrovia have counted on Ward Service  for their automotive service needs.  This month, Ward celebrated their 90 years in style by inviting the public to their shop to enjoy a party, complete with a car show.  We weren't able to attend the festivities, but thankfully, our friend Dave Kunz was kind enough to share his pictures with us...Established in Pasadena, CA in 1923 , Ward Service is now located in Monrovia, CA, and is still run by the Ward family.This is "Carburetor" Carl, a mechanic at Ward Service with one of his unique bikes...... and here's another of Carl's rides, a early 20th century Pierce motorcycle.Check out this vintage fire truck, owned by the Monrovia Fire Department, which is currently in the early stages of the restoration process.The sweet, sleek Mustang in the front belongs to Dave. Next to it is one of our favorite cars, the Sunbeam Tiger.

Unique details, like the emblem on this Buick, always delight us...... particularly when they're part of a two-toned beauty like this one!  We are especially thankful to Dave for sharing his photos with us, and congratulate Ward Service on a stellar 90 years of business!
