Street Spot: Lotus Europa hangin' in Malibu

A regular feature here on The Daily Driver Project is the “Street Spot.” We love seeing vintage cars as daily drivers, out on the streets where they belong. When we see a vintage car worth sharing, we’ll post it as a Street Spot. Sometimes it will be a beauty, sometimes it will be a beater, but then again – even the beater cars are beautiful to us!

So recently while waiting in Malibu to chase a few Corvairs up PCH we stumbled upon this fantastic track car. A great looking Lotus Europa. Lucky for me the owner was there so we could check out the engine and the sparse interior. Heck it didn't even have a passenger's seat, just a big fire bottle. You know this thing is fun in the canyons around Malibu as well as on the track.
